Reviews: MICF 09 Sketch Comedy at Kaleide Theatre

There are three troupes performing sketch comedy at RMIT’s Kaleide Theatre for MICF 09, with hopes that this may merely be the first year that the Kaleide acts as a hub for sketch comedy shows. Review: Full Body Contact No Love Tennis, Beaconsfield The Musical

Full Body Contact No Love Tennis is a showcase for long form impro … Solid entertainment fueled by nerves and punctuated with laugh out loud moments…Beaconsfield the Musical is a timely reminder of how intrusive and trivialising the media can be once they are travelling in packs. It’s also a smashingly paced musical comedy, stuffed with black humour reminiscent of the savage absurdism of Joan Littlewood’s Oh What A Lovely War with an occasional dash of Tom Lehrer.
