The 2011 National Class Clowns Final will be held on Wednesday August 31 at the Malthouse Theatre. Featuring Harley Breen as emcee and special feature act Smart Casual. Judges include Cal Wilson, Lawrence Mooney, Peter Helliar and Anthony Watt (Executive Producer of Spicks and Specks).

Dayne Rathbone, a 27 year old computer programming teacher currently living in Melbourne but who cut his comedy teeth in Canberra, has taken out the Raw Comedy trophy in his second year of competing.
24/7 Comedy Radio, an new network in the USA & Canada, is looking for submissions from comics Down Under. They also have a new performing rights society so comedians can collect $ for airplay.
