Every Tuesday and Thursday this June you can see the country’s top comedy performers dish up an extravaganza of improvisation in The Roxbury Festival of Awesome Improv.

It’s your chance to see David Bowie movie reenactments, live Agatha Christie mysteries, World Champion improvisers, art lessons, letters from mothers and lovers and much more.

The festival offers over 15 different shows over 9 nights, directed by Sydney’s hottest emerging and established talent and starring “the country’s best improvisers” and special celebrity guests.

Come along for laugh out loud funny sketches and stories made up on the spot. Improv is completely made up on the spot, just like you see the casts of Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Thank God You’re Here do. It’s completely unexpected, sometimes scary but always hilarious, high-stakes comedy. Based on suggestions from the audience, improv creates characters, sings songs and tells stories that you’ve never seen before and will never see again.

The Roxbury Festival of Awesome Improv is the brainchild of Cale Bain, from Toronto, Canada who learned his comedy chops at the Second City, the very same company that Whose Line stars Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles came out of, not to mention Martin Short and Mike Myers. The rest of the FULL BODY CONTACT NO LOVE TENNIS cast features Daniel Cordeaux from the cast of Thank God You’re Here, Rebecca De Unamuno from The Chaser’s War on Everything and Comedy Inc plus special guests like Good News Week‘s Claire Hooper, RockWiz‘s Julia Zemiro and more!
