Halloween Hijinks

Who doesn’t love the opportunity to goof around in a vaguely macabre fashion? Which comedy venues are putting on the fangs, capes and neck-bolts etc? Several Sydney rooms are doing themed shows this week – check out your favourite comedy venue and see what ghouls they have dragged forth to entertain you.

Desh: Murmurs on the wire

Namastae! May the many hands of Ganesha bring you fortune and favor. My weekend has ended with a double shot of The Wire series one on [insert paid advertisement for ISP provider here]. Mindless hours whiling away a rainy afternoon got me thinking how East Baltimore is nothing like Rouse Hill and The Mean Fiddler [gratuitous plug for my gig on Wednesday night].

Joey Del On The Laugh Garage And The World’s Funniest Island!!!

What initially seemed expensive actually turned out to be very cheap when you consider I was lucky enough to watch Jimeoin, Akmal, Arj Barker, Tripod, Axis of Awesome, Heath Franklin’s Chopper, Mad Max the remix, John Robertson, Toby Coleman, Seizure, Keasty, Mickey D, Greg Fleet, Rick Shapiro, Matthew Hardy, Nick Sun, Sam Bowring, Sally Kimpton, Chris Wainhouse, Paul Warnes, Alan Glover, Felicity Ward and Peter Berner all in the one day!

New features

The gig listing software for the site has been updated. This means that it’s now easier to subscribe via RSS or iCal to only the listing updates that you want to see for your region.
