This is part of a birthday celebration for the International House of Comedy weekly comedy room in Alexandria, and also a warm-up for a planned world record attempt in the not too distant future. And best of all, it’s FREE.
Sunday night Theatresports® at Sydney’s Belvoir Street Theatre is a tradition that is celebrating 25 years this year. They’ve come up with a new format to showcase both veterans and newbies on that great stage.
This looks really promising – the original Melbourne room is a legend, and another weekly comedy room near the city is a great idea.

Some of Australia’s funniest comedians will duel it out for the Best Comedy Performer gong, with Julia Morris, Adam Hills, Judith Lucy and musician/comedian Tim Minchin all nominated.
